Frequently asked questions
Is a subscription required?
No. You buy the unit once and every function is included: readings, dosing, control, the app and the integrations. No subscription, no paid options.
Will it work with my installation?
Yes, with every pool. The unit goes in the plant room on the existing filtration loop: probes in the pipework, power, network. You change neither the pump nor the filter.
What if I have a salt chlorinator?
Pool Nexus drives it instead of a chlorine dosing pump. It measures the redox potential and commands the chlorinator's output to hold your set point. pH correction is still handled by the pH-minus dosing pump.
How do I join the beta test?
The programme is open. You describe your installation, we send you access and the app. What testers report decides what gets built next.
Does Pool Nexus work without the internet?
Yes. All the regulation is decided inside the unit: the probes are wired to it, your set points are stored in it and the dosing pumps are connected to it. The internet only serves to check readings remotely and to receive updates. Cut it, and measurement, dosing, filtration and lighting carry on. With Home Assistant, Jeedom, Domoticz or Matter you even keep control: everything stays on your network, without going through our cloud.
